Roeselien Raimond is a talented Dutch photographer who has already amazed us with her stunning photos of beautiful wild foxes. She’s now back with some new pictures of these fascinating animals that she wants to share with readers. This time, she shows how foxes can teach us some important lessons.
Foxes know how to live in the present. They pay attention to their bodies and know what they are telling them. When their bodies tell them they are hungry, they go find food. When their bodies tell them to sleep, they find a quiet place to rest. When the body says “babies,” they find a partner. And when the body doesn’t say anything, the right thing to do is… nothing. Look at us, running around like crazy from point A to point B and back again, even though we don’t really know why. Ignoring what our bodies are telling us and going beyond our limits Foxes don’t look back or forward; they only live in this moment. While we keep trying to figure out how to live a meaningful life, foxes just live their lives.
Meditation, yoga, being present—Foxes just do what they do. “Time to learn something from the best teachers ever, the Zen masters!”
