Tum Natakorn Ulit is a 27-year-old artist from Bangkok, Thailand, who makes comics with deep messages that are both powerful and heartbreaking. In a recent interview with Bored Panda, the artist said that most of his comics come from his own pain and experiences and are a way for him to talk about how he feels.
But Tum’s comics are about more than just letting out how he feels. The man wants his comics to be something that people will enjoy and maybe even find useful. “Helping other people might just be an excuse for me to do this, and this might just be my therapy,” thought the artist.
Don’t be fooled by Tum’s comics’ bright colors. They deal with a lot of sad things, like heartbreak, the loss of loved ones, and consumerism. The artist says he is a person who pays attention to the real world and the things going on around him. “I like to see, touch, feel, and do new things. Tum says, “I want to keep my feet on the ground and pay attention to what’s going on right now instead of worrying about why or when something might happen.”
