A Day Before Her Death, This 27-Year-Old Wrote A Letter And Her Life Lessons Could Change You Forever

You might be unhappy with your life because you don’t have enough money, have an unfulfilling job, or are in a tumultuous relationship. Perhaps you spend too much time online arguing with strangers about politics. We all feel like something is missing from our lives at times, and perhaps all we need is a new perspective and a drastic change to begin enjoying life again. “If something is making you unhappy, you have the power to change it – whether it’s at work, in love, or in life. Have the courage to make a change. You never know how much time you have on this planet, so don’t waste it by being unhappy.

These are Holly Butcher’s final words, spoken in Grafton, New South Wales, Australia. She recently lost her battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare and usually fatal disease that primarily affects children. Holly was only 27 years old when she died. Holly decided to write an open letter as she came to terms with her mortality as a cancer patient, which was a heartbreakingly painful thing to have to do at such a young age. She wrote about the life lessons she learned, reflecting on how her experience with stage 4 cancer taught her to value every second of her life. “I’m 27 now.

“I’m 27 now, she wrote. I enjoy my life. I am comfortable Which is something I owe to my loved ones. “However, I have no control. Perhaps Holly’s words, which come from the heart with passion and piercing honesty, will help people see the bigger picture of how to be happy, which is often lost in a sea of ultimately meaningless stresses and worries that quickly consume our daily existence. She inspires us to focus on what is important and live our lives to the fullest. Life is fragile, precious, and unpredictably unpredictable, and each day is a gift, not a right.
