Jim Benton’s work is great if you like silly jokes, puns, and a touch of surrealism. He is a writer and artist who created “It’s Happy Bunny,” “Dear Dumb Diary,” “Franny K. Stein,” “Catwad,” and other works. He is also a best-selling author for the NYT.
In this article, we’ll show you some of Jim’s cartoons that we think will make you laugh. Here, you’ll find vampires visiting Stake House, ghosts who don’t want to be there, angry chicken nuggets, and more!
In an interview with boredpanda, he said that he had tried other kinds of art before comics. I loved making sculptures, prints, and paintings. But at some point, the voice of your inner jackass gets so loud that you have no choice but to listen to it. I also do a lot of writing.
When asked where Jim gets his ideas, the artist said he doesn’t know. Most of the time, I just sit down at my drawing table, and ideas come to me. Some bad, some good. My style comes from the fact that I like to try new things. I think I might have a problem with using art supplies too much. “
Jim finds that being seen is the hardest part of being creative. People have so many great choices that it’s hard to push your way through the crowd. But it’s worth it when you do.
I love the idea of having a laugh or even just a smirk with someone. I love it when people share them and put them up again. ”
