Sebastian Errazuriz is an artist who has made a series of shoes that are beautifully made and who openly talks about his past relationships. The name of the series is “12 Shoes for 12 Lovers,” and each shoe is made to look like one of his 12 ex-girlfriends.
Each of Errazuriz’s beautiful high-heeled shoes is dedicated to a girl from his past and comes with a short story or description of her. Some of the descriptions are beautiful and flattering, while others are not as nice. But they are all strong. The shoes seem like an act of self-exposure in public, and Errazuriz seems weaker around these women from his past.
Errazuriz told core77 in an interview that most of his ex-girlfriends didn’t mind at all that he wrote about them. He also said, “I was a little worried about others.” I just knew some of them would be bad. A husband and a boyfriend could be very upset, but my stories don’t have real names, and the photos don’t show any faces.”
Errazuriz worked with the shoe company Melissa, which is known for collaborating with big names like Vivienne Westwood and Karl Lagerfeld. Some of the shoes don’t seem like they would be useful, but I’m sure that at least a few ladies would like to wear some of them.
