Since the beginning of the World Wide Web, the Internet has been a very busy place. Here, the good and the bad, the real and the made-up, the bad news and the good news, the scary side and its good twin, all cohabit.
Speaking of that, there aren’t many things that can brighten our day and make us feel better than reading good content. There’s even a very famous Facebook group called “Blessed Imageposting” that’s all about this. They only post the most blessed, happy, and good pictures they can find.
437,4k users swear by it, and who wouldn’t if it makes you feel like you’re wrapped in a warm blanket?

Wholesomeness is a new style on the internet that is modern, popular, and makes people feel good. Before, people thought of the internet as a vast, sometimes sketchy (if you went where you shouldn’t have) place where anyone could do, post, write, or insult anything as long as they were at home.
But a new wave of wholesomeness started around 2016 and has given people little spots of happiness and good vibes that weren’t really there before. It started on Twitter and Tumblr, and then good jokes, posts, and pictures started showing up. The good material started promoting things like self-respect, hard work, active listening, healthy relationships, and balanced diets.

Rain, rain, go away! Come again another day!
“Fluff bits” on TV news do the same thing that “real news” does today. In the end, they give us a break from the constant bad news we’ve been getting over the past few years. And it all makes sense: people want good things and want to know that, deep down, we are all good people who are ready to work together for the good of everyone. Good posts are like a switch that takes you right away to a better, brighter place.
