He began a loving family life with them, enjoying the companionship of his people, playing outside and going for runs in the regional park, making plenty of buddies. Whenever their elderly owner could no longer find a way to care for him, Bully found a house that was new to Chris and Mariesa and came to the rescue.
His previous owner told The Dodo that Bully was just a dog that was “big only a little dog’s human anatomy,” and Chris rapidly knew that despite Bully’s age, he hadn’t changed one bit from the young pup he once was. He said that “Bully is feisty, sexy, sweet, independent, mild, and relaxed in that he has an old man bark.” But also, at 23, he won’t hesitate to push around the other Chihuahuas residing at the house.
Unfortunately, his owner, who is elderly, could not care for him any longer, in which case he found his way to the hearts of the Hughes family members.
The Hughes run a non-profit rescue called the Mr. Mo Venture, uniting all senior pups in the hopes of supplying a happy and safe house.

Bully’s age is catching up with him, despite his enormous personality. He requires more sleep than the normal puppy, according to Chris, who adds that “he will fall asleep almost wherever, sometimes in the middle of the kitchen floor, on a toilet pad, or in the biggest, most comfortable bed in the corner.” As a result, the nicest birthday present they could give the dog was a full night’s sleep and a soft, crumbly biscuit for the senior.
Bully and his antics have won the family over. When he arrived with us, I, honestly, didn’t want to add another dog to our pack, especially a 21-year-old, unmodified dog, and a chihuahua at that, “the family wrote on Instagram. But, guess what? Bully must have been sent from the cosmos since he offers us so much joy that I can’t fathom my life without him.
But Bully isn’t seeking another house due to the fact that Hughes has fallen deeply in love with him and their antics are silly.
The birthday celebration post garnered a total of a large amount of attention, gift ideas, and contributions originating from fans and companies alike.
However, the households aren’t the ones that are just bullies. The birthday celebration post received so many likes that 10k people expressed their best wishes to the pup.
