I Create Glow-in-the-Dark Looks With Makeup, UV Paint, and Light.

I’m a Norwegian woman. As for my makeup skills, I’m self-taught as well.

There’s a pretty dark beginning to my journey into the world of makeup art. Throughout my adolescence and the beginning of my twenties, I battled anorexia nervosa. In order to keep me from seeing the truth, I began experimenting with makeup. To me, makeup was just another canvas on which I could express my artistic side. Practicing body art in front of the mirror could keep me occupied for hours on end. For me, makeup was a place where I could retreat from the world and focus solely on my own thoughts and inspirations. helped with my food difficulties and opened a new world to me through the application of makeup.

Because it’s NYX Professional Makeup’s Nordic Face Awards 2017, I decided to enter. I’d never done anything like this before, but I decided to enter anyhow. With makeup, I was able to combine two of my passions: art and drawing. I was blown away by the outcomes. I used lipstick, eyeliner, and eyeshadow to get to the top 5! So I kept practicing, and in 2018, I won the Nordic Face Awards! The proudest moment of my life was here.

However, I aspired to greater heights in terms of artistic achievement. I have never done this before. My imaginative full-face makeup look inspired me to experiment with lighting one day. A black t-shirt with a few holes cut in it worked wonders as a hood for my softbox. That’s how I came up with the concept of producing makeup that glows in the dark. After a lot of trial and error, I’ve mastered the art of creating a glowing cosmetics effect with UV paint, light, and lighting manipulation.

Something bad may develop into something lovely, as evidenced by this stunning make-up transformation.

In addition to being a full-time nursing student, I’m also a part-time COVID-19 vaccination and a full-time dog mom. Colors have always inspired me. My father is from India, so I grew up in a world of vibrant art. Nature and animals are also two of my greatest passions, and I believe that nature itself is a form of art in and of itself. I’m a huge fan of animal prints! It’s a lot of fun, and the end result is fantastic

I decided to follow the advice of a few of my close friends and open an Instagram account to post pictures of my latest beauty looks. It wasn’t until a few months later that I had a large following. As far as I know, I haven’t decided whether or not to start a YouTube channel for beauty lessons. As a result, I’m worried that I won’t be able to complete all of my makeup looks

A final appearance can take up to 12 hours to complete. My passion for my work and the enthusiasm of those who see me do it pay off in spades. A lot of people have asked for my work, and I’ve received a lot of positive feedback as a result. Instagram is where I showcase the outfits I’ve developed. On my website, you can see additional examples of my work.

Things and people inspire me when I think about what motivates me to create the looks I produce. One or two of the many excellent painters out there would be an impossible task. Michelle Phan, Shaanxo, and Promise Tamang have all been part of my childhood. As I said before, animals and the beautiful colors of nature are constant sources of inspiration for me.
