Turkish-born artist Murat Akyol hails from the city of Mardin. He is quite fond of the arts and finds photography to be an excellent medium for conveying the details of his nighttime visions. Some of his writings are presented here. His visions inspire his edits, rich with visual metaphors, unusual compositions, and a bizarre, dreamlike mood.
