Most of us probably remember the “Follow me to” picture series, which was started by Instagram influencers and became a huge hit. In 2012, it was a big trend, thanks to one photographer and his girlfriend. Well, as the times change, so do the popular hashtags. “Follow me to [insert whatever country]” has become “Follow me home.” People on Instagram don’t travel around the world and post pictures of themselves holding hands in front of famous landmarks. Instead, they stay at home like the rest of us and don’t go further than their kitchen (or garden, if they’re fortunate).
